K-12 Teachers: You’re invited to our annual conference!

World War I and the Transformation of the Middle East: Conference & Workshop for Educators

February 19 (6pm-9pm) – February 20, 2016 (8:30am-5:30pm)
FedEx Global Education Center, UNC-CH

The academic conference will provide professional development for K-12 teachers with an opportunity to earn CEUs. North Carolina teachers are invited to attend the conference and explore how to incorporate the material presented in their classrooms. Teachers will attend a concert of Ottoman music, participate in sessions with scholars from around the world, and attend a special working lunch to discuss classroom applications.

This workshop is free and open to educators of all grades and levels (please note that while the conference is free, we are unable to reimburse for travel expenses). We currently have a waiting list, and will notify teachers on this list if space becomes available.
